RS PRO PTE Series Photoelectric Sensors
The PTE series photoelectric sensors from RS PRO are economical and reliable compact devices typically found in parking system, architectural environments, manufacturing and logistics. The PTE range offers a series of detection types that include diffuse reflection, polarized retro-reflection and through beam reflection with various detection ranges.
How do they work?
A photoelectric sensor is a non-contact device which detects the presence or absence of an object regardless of material. The sensors do this by emitting a beam of infrared or red light at a photoelectric receiver to assess surroundings, detect objects or recognise the absence of an object.
