Stainless Steel IO-Link Photoelectric Sensor

This Banner adjustable field laser photoelectric sensor features a dual discrete output and IO Link. The Q4X laser sensor is able to solve difficult applications regardless of how reflective the target surface is, offering optimum detection reliability for distance-based uses.

Features and Benefits

• 4 digit, 7 segment LED display indicator
• Max sensing range of 110mm
• Visible red laser sensing beam
• Operating temperature range of -10° to 50°
• Background/foreground suppression system
• Stainless steel metal housing rated to IP69K protection to resist mechanical impact, over tightening and extreme vibration
• Bright output indicator and real time distance feedback provide easy setup and troubleshooting for reduced installation costs

How does a photoelectric sensor work?

Photoelectric sensors detect and measure physical objects or quantities by emitting a field or beam of electromagnetic radiation, an object is detected by measuring alterations in the return signal.

Output Indicator:

On—Output is on
Off—Output is off
Active TEACH Indicators (DYN, FGS, and BGS):
DYN, FGS, and BGS all off—Two-point TEACH mode selected (default)
DYN on—Dynamic TEACH mode selected
FGS on—Foreground suppression TEACH mode selected
BGS on—Background suppression TEACH mode selected
DYN, FGS, and BGS all on—Dual TEACH mode selected
Stability Indicator (STB):
On—Stable signal within the specified sensing range
Flashing—Marginal signal, the target is outside the limits of the specified sensing range, or a multiple peak condition exists
Off—No target detected within the specified sensing range
