This probe offers a bandwidth of 100 MHz and has a fixed attenuation of 10:1 making it ideal for general purpose probing. The RS-TP 35101 is a lightweight passive probe that doesn't require a battery or power supply in order to work, making it ideal for working on the go. The compact design of this durable probe makes it ideal for the measurement of small electronic parts such as SMT components. What is oscilloscope probe bandwidth?

The bandwidth of an oscilloscope specifies the usable frequency range of the oscilloscope. The signal processing circuitry of an oscilloscope acts like a low pass filter, limiting the frequency behaviour of the device. Therefore, for a proper analysis, the oscilloscope bandwidth must be considerably higher than the frequency of the signal under test.
