Designed with a larger back-lit LCD display at 2.9" working in darker environments is made light work. Easy to use with state of the art technology it offer functionality not previously available in a wiremapper. An advanced wire map engine displays complex faults instantaneously whilst TDR aids trouble shooting to hugely decrease down time. (Time Domain Reflectometry) Additional feature include the Distance to open/Short, media service detection, Ethernet detection, Netwrok rate and Duplex information. Integrated RJ11, RJ12, RJ45 and F-Type connectors allow fast tests on low-voltage cables, and prevent the need for adapters, probes or separate testers. The remote unit is stored within the device to reduce loss and damage, this device is sleek, robust, fast and efficient.

How does TDR work?
Damaged cables, open and short circuits change impedance, TDR injects a signal into the cable and measures the time it is reflected back taking this into account. It then translates the time into an accurate distance enabling an engineer or technician to pin point where the fault is.
