The fibre wall outlet is manufactured from PC/ABS V0 plastic and tamper proof latches secure the cover to the base and an overhang restricts the removal of any adaptors or connectors when the cover is in place.
The pre-terminated FWO is supplied with an SC SX PC adaptor and a 2 fibre G657.A2 10m cable (TIA colour code) which is terminated with a single SC PC connector. The pre-terminated cable is fitted into the wall outlet and the cable is routed out of the bottom of the outlet.
The small single gang socket size enclosure can be discretely mounted on the wall up to 10m from the building entry providing the connection point for a router or other active equipment.
Fibre management features ensure a minimum bend radius of 30mm is maintained as the bare fibre is routed through the outlet and strain relief and anchor points secure the incoming cable.
The base has adjustable keyholes to allow for ease of positioning and installation and is supplied with a standard fixing kit.
Other FWO connector configurations and cable types are available on request.
