Applications

Digital Multimeters are a type of measurement device used to test and measure a range of electrical properties such as voltage (volts), current (amps) and resistance (ohms). Using a digital output readout, the digital multimeter is connected to a device and measures typically the voltage and any resistances, giving you an output you can measure. Digital multimeters offer a wide range of AC and DC measurement capabilities to suit a variety of applications. Multimeters are essential tester tools for carrying out electrical work from home renovations to large scale installations.

Compact design

This compact handheld digital multimeter is ideal for use in a variety of environments, taking up minimal space in your tool kit. The dimensions of the device are just 4.6” x 2.3” x 1.4”.

Non-Contact Voltage Detector and Indicator

This versatile handheld digital multimeter features non-contact AC Voltage Detection of 100V to 1000V.

WARNING: Risk of Electrocution. Before use, always test the Voltage Detector on a known live circuit to verify proper operation.

1. The non-contact voltage detector operates when the meter is set to any measuring function. The detector does not operate when Auto Power Off turns the meter off or when the rotary function switch is set to the off position.
2. Hold the detector close to the AC voltage being tested.
3. If AC voltage within the specified range is present, the indicator light will illuminate.

NOTE: Insulation type and thickness, and distance from the voltage source and other factors may effect operation. Use other methods to verify live voltage if there is any uncertainty.
NOTE: The detector is designed with high sensitivity. Static electricity or other sources of energy may randomly trip the sensor. This is normal operation.
NOTE: The detector only activates the indicator light when AC voltage is present. It does not indicate the voltage level on the LCD display.
