RS PRO Star Delta Starter, 230 V AC, 22 kW
If you need to protect your motor and equipment during startup, this RS PRO star-delta starter is a simple, reliable solution. It allows a motor to be started in three phases, with a lower inrush current to prevent damage. The initial phase uses a star connection to an induction motor, then transfers to a delta connection when it reaches 80% of its load speed.
The star-delta starter can be operated up to 30 times in an hour, which makes it particularly useful for applications where your motor has to be frequently stopped and started. It has a moulded plastic enclosure with a high level of durability and resistance to impact, giving it a long lifespan. The housing also has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65, which protects the circuitry from dust, small particles and water spray. Use this product for conveyors, pumps, and engineering equipment.
