The STMicroelectronics Advanced 3phase BLDC Motor Controller is a family of highly integrated system-in-package providing solution suitable for driving three phase brushless motors using different driving modes extremely reducing the BOM and area. It is composed by four part numbers and for full flexibility in balancing the resources among op amp for current sensing GPIOs and specifically dedicated features like a precise reference for the ADC. It embeds a triple half bridge gate driver able to drive power MOSFETs with a current capability of 600 mA sink and source. The high and low side switches of the same half bridge cannot be simultaneously driven high thanks to an integrated interlocking function.

Operating voltage from 6.7 to 45 V

3.3 V DC-DC buck converter regulator with overcurrent short circuit and thermal protection

12 V LDO linear regulator with thermal protection

Up to 23 fast I/O ports

5 channel DMA controller with flexible mapping

Comparator for overcurrent protection

Standby mode for low power consumption
