Its high transient overload capability means it can withstand power surges, while efficient commutation in the motor contributes to an increased brush life.

The panel-mount controller's potentiometer input supply is fused for protection. It has adjustable IR compensation that provides speed regulation in the DC drive. 'I' represents the current (amps) drawn by the motor and 'R' represents armature resistance. This helps stabilise the motor speed during the transition to full load. In addition, an adjustable current limit lets you configure the controller for your requirements.

This product takes a supply voltage of 240 V or 110 V AC and the output is voltage-rated at 200 V DC. It has built-in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and harmonic filters that conform, as a complete drive, to statutory EMC and Harmonics directives. The controller also meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards on electrostatic discharge.
