RS PRO Incremental Encoder 1024 PPR, Solid Shaft
Need to record rotations per minute (RPM), speed or distance in a high-speed rotating device? Use this RS PRO incremental encoder. The body is made of strong die-cast aluminium material, so you can use it for demanding industrial applications.
The cover has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP67. This means it can withstand submersion in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes and is protected against dust. It can withstand high radial and axial loads for maximum durability. Its high PPR (pulses per revolution) of 1024 means it provides highly accurate readings.
For resistance to rust and corrosion, the unit is powder-coated. It's also a low-maintenance choice as its high electrical immunity means it's not susceptible to noise.
