RS PRO Incremental Encoder 50 PPR, Solid Shaft


For monitoring and feedback applications in motor drives, choose this incremental encoder from RS PRO. It's used to record the rotations per minute (RPM), speed and distance in any high-speed rotating device.
This incremental encoder features a sturdy die-cast aluminium housing, so it can be used for heavy-duty industrial applications. Plus, it can withstand very high axial and radial loads, making this a robust product. A high pulse per revolution (PPR) of 5000 means you can be confident of accurate and sensitive measurements.
The unit is powder-coated to ensure superior resistance to corrosion and rust. It's shaft-sealed to an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65 so it's dust-tight and can withstand low-pressure waterjets. It has a high electrical immunity so it's not susceptible to noise, so you can be confident of low-maintenance operation.
