RS PRO Incremental Encoder 50 PPR, Hollow Shaft


This incremental encoder from RS PRO is used to detect the position, revolutions per minute and speed of shafts in industrial machinery. It can be used on any shaft with speeds of up to 6000 rpm (revolutions per minute) and a maximum temperature protection rating of +60°C. This makes it ideal for heavy-duty equipment in the manufacturing and construction industries.
The encoder features a rugged die-cast aluminium housing cap, so it will withstand harsh environments. Plus, it has a high Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65 meaning it's dust-tight and will resist low-pressure waterjets. High noise immunity ensures error-free communication so you can be confident of accurate readings. As the unit is a through-bore encoder, it can be mounted on any part of the shaft, ensuring flexibility for space-saving applications.
