Allen Bradley Absolute Encoder, Hollow Shaft Flange Type, IP67 Rating - 842E-MIP7BA

To monitor the movement of industrial equipment, choose this absolute encoder from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. The motion of machine parts causes its disc to rotate to a different position, which the encoder records and transmits as a binary signal to your controller. For reliably precise readings, the unit achieves measurements with ultra-high accuracy thanks to its 18-bit resolution. Thanks to a wide operating temperature range between -30°C and +85°C, this is a safe choice for use in challenging environments.

Features & Benefits

• Hollow shaft lets you adjust the device to suit your motor for increased versatility
• Maximum operating humidity of 90% RH, so you can use it in areas that experience high levels of water vapour
• Onboard Ethernet interface supports the transfer of data through your network
• 200mA maximum operating current indicates this is an energy-saving component

Standards and Certifications

• CE Marked for all applicable directives
• IEC 60529
• EN 61000-6-2
• EN 61000-6-3
