AVX 1206 X7S Dielectric Capacitors

AVX X7S multilayer ceramic capacitors are temperature stable and fall into the EIA class 11 materials. Capacitance for X7S varies under the influence of electrical operating conditions such as voltage and frequency. Its temperature variation of capacitance s within ±22% from –55°C to +125°C. This capacitance change is non-linear.Voltage: 4 V to 200 V.Capacitance Range: 0.033 μF to 22μF.X7S dielectric chip usage covers the broad spectrum of industrial applications where known changes in capacitance due to applied voltages are acceptable.

Automotive MLC capacitors cover a wide range of case sizes, capacitance values, and working voltages. These products are not suitable for automotive industry only, but for all improved reliability applications as well. Capacitors are continuously tested in QA (Quality Assurance) laboratories. Results of these tests enable to maintain superior quality.

1206 Range

C0G (NP0) is the most popular formulation of the "temperature-compensating", EIA Class I ceramic materials
X7R formulations are called "temperature stable" ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials
Y5V formulations are for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. These characteristics make Y5V ideal for decoupling applications
