PIC24FJxxxGA610/GB610 16-Bit Microcontrollers

The Microchip PIC24FJxxxGA610/GB610 family of Microcontrollers are peripheral rich 16-bit devices that lend themselves to applications that require a large amount of memory.

Of particular note is the Dual Partition Flash with Live Update Capability that allows the MCU to hold two independent software applications (including boot loader). Furthermore this functionality allows the simultaneous programming of one partition while executing application code from the other.

Microcontroller Features

Modified Harvard Architecture
Up to 16 MIPS Operation @ 32 MHz
17-Bit x 17-Bit Single-Cycle Hardware Fractional/Integer Multiplier
32-Bit by 16-Bit Hardware Divider
16 x 16-Bit Working Register Array
In-Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP)
In-Circuit Emulation (ICE)
Peripheral Pin Select (PPS)
Power-on Reset (POR) and Brown-out Reset (BOR)
Power-up Timer (PWRT) and Oscillator Start-up Timer (OST)
Programmable High/Low-Voltage Detect (HLVD)
Flexible Watchdog Timer (WDT)

Dual Partition Flash Features

Capable of Holding Two Independent Software Applications, Including Boot Loader
