In addition to a high-precision (±1%) on-chip oscillator enabling 32MHz CPU operation and other standard on-chip functions from the RL78/G13, the RL78/G1A microcontrollers has a built-in A/D conversion circuit with 12-bit precision accuracy enabling fine-grained control and support up to 28 channels of analogue input which allows them to be used for a wide range of system control applications.
