RS PRO Mica Capacitor, 1 nF, 500 V DC, ±1% Tolerance

Need to store charge in a circuit? Try this RS PRO mica capacitor. The component has two silver contacts, with a silver mica dielectric sandwiched in between them. This makes it suitable for precise or high-frequency applications thanks to the high stability of the silver material, with a tolerance of just ±1% for a capacitance of 1 nF (nanofarad).

This product is highly flame-retardant, as the outer case is coated in epoxy resin. This means that it will operate safely, even if it's exposed to a flame. You can also use this part in a range of demanding environments as it has a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. This type of part is commonly used inside aircraft instruments, as well as logic circuits in power plants. Engineers have rigorously tested this part for safety and quality.
