Eaton MCCB, 690V AC Voltage Rating, 80kA Breaking Capacity - PN2 Series - 266007 PN2-250

This MCCB from Eaton protects your electrical circuit against damage caused by overcurrent due to overloads or short circuits. It's an electrically operated switch that interrupts the current flow when it detects faults to limit damage to equipment and prevent downtime. The device also improves electrical safety in industrial, commercial and domestic settings by safeguarding against electric shocks and fire risks. You'll find this unit used in electrical power plants, distribution boards and industrial generators.

• Compact unit with dimensions of 105 (L) x 184 (W) and 149mm (D) is easy to fit in small spaces
• Robust plastic casing protects internal contacts and wires from external damage and safeguards against electrical shocks
• Comes supplied with terminal screws to make installation easier

What's the difference between an MCCB and an MCB?

MCCBs and MCBs are both circuit breakers, but they're suitable for different jobs as their capacities differ. An MCB caters for low-current circuits and the tripping characteristics are fixed. An MCCB provides a wide amp range from 10A to 2,500A and interrupting ratings from 10,000A to 200,000A, with adjustable tripping characteristics to suit high-load applications.
