Siemens MCB, 50Hz Supply Voltage Frequency, 400V AC Voltage Rating - SENTRON Series - 5SY4304-7

Take overcurrent protection to the next level with this MCB from Siemens. The device breaks a circuit when it detects an overload or short circuit. This safeguards downstream devices in applications such as process automation, medical imaging and electrical distribution. You can link multiple circuits to this three-pole unit to simplify your setup. A 400V AC voltage rating means it handles heavy-duty power supplies without a hitch. Installation is tool-free – just clip this component onto a DIN rail and the job's done in a jiffy. Compact dimensions of 89.8 (L) x 53 (W) x 76mm (D) are big on saving space in busy setups.

Features & Benefits

• Type-C tripping curve can handle higher inrush currents for use with demanding applications
• Tough plastic housing protects wires and contacts from impact and contamination
• Easy-to-use toggle switch lets you reset the device in a flash
• IP20 rating for protection against objects larger than 12.5mm, including your fingers

How do I know if this MCB is live or not?

It's easy to spot if the unit is live as the up and down toggle-switch positions are colour-coded. In the down position, it's green, and in the up position, it's red, which means it's live.
