Eaton MCB, DIN Rail Mount, 2 Poles - FAZ Series - 278805 FAZ-S1/2

Use this MCB from Eaton to protect your machinery against dangerous electrical faults. As a type S device, it immediately breaks your circuit if it detects current 13 to 17 times higher than its 1A current rating. This is especially useful for applications where overcurrent can be expected, such as in power distribution lines. As it has two poles, this unit can monitor two conductors at once, so offers convenient system protection. Each of the breaker's poles quickly resets with an individual toggle switch to minimise your hardware's downtime.

Features & Benefits

• Minimal heat loss of 3.2W for energy-efficient protection without extra ventilation

• Breaking capacity of 10kA withstands large loads and supports high-current switching

• IP20-rated for resistance to fingers and other solid objects larger than 12.5mm

• Clips onto DIN rails for simple installation in existing systems

What's the lifespan of this MCB?

This MCB has an electrical service life of at least 10,000 cycles, giving you a long-lasting safety device.

What temperatures can I use this MCB in?

This unit works in operating temperatures between -40°C and +75°C, so is suited to use in harsh environments.
