Siemens Type-C Mini Circuit Breaker, 10kA, 400V - 5SY4 Series - 5SY4106-7

Protect your machinery from damage caused by short circuits and overcurrent using this Siemens MCB (mini circuit breaker). When it detects a current abnormality, its internal bimetallic strip breaks and interrupts the power supply. You can reset this device for further use by flipping the switch located in the front, making it an efficient and sustainable choice. The quick-assembly system enables flexible mounting in compact spaces without the need for screws or tools. Use this MCB as part of your commercial equipment's safety setup.

• 10kA breaking capacity makes for strong and durable resistance against heavy loads
• Casing is tightly sealed and insulated to prevent tampering, overheating and electrical fires
• Up to 10,000 switching sequences for reliable long-term operation

What does the type-C tripping of this mini circuit breaker do?

Tripping in an MCB permits a current surge to take place when it's ideal for the machinery to operate properly. A type-C MCB allows a high surge between five to ten times its rated current. This means it can handle both heavy commercial loads and light fixtures.
