Allen Bradley 1492 SP Series Miniature Circuit Breakers – Type B

The 1492-SPM Type B general purpose Miniature Circuit Breakers by Allen Bradley offer excellent protection for electrical circuits. With this series 1, 2, and 3 Pole units are available so that you can find the perfect MCB to suit your application.

The 1492-SPM series of MCB’s are current limiting and have an instantaneous break time. These models have Type B Tripping characteristics. They are IP20 finger-safe and they also have dual terminals for wiring and bus bar flexibility. Installation is simple as these MCB’s can be DIN rail mounted, and up to six accessories can be fixed on the same circuit breaker to provide a complete electrical safety system. The 1492-SPM series of circuit breakers reduces downtime from nuisance tripping due to their enhanced shock and vibration resistance.

A Type B miniature circuit breaker will trip instantly at a rate of three to five times its rated current. These MCB’s are often used for small inductive loads where switching surges are very low. They are frequently used in residential or light commercial applications.

Features and Benefits:

• Easy and fast installation via DIN rail mounting
• Instantaneous break time
• Available in 1, 2 or 3 pole versions

Allen Bradley MCB, 25A Current Rating, Type B Tripping - 1492-SPM1B250

Use this MCB from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range to safely trip low voltage surges. The type B breaker is a good choice for the supplementary protection of small inductive loads. It has an instant tripping capacity, so it reacts immediately when abnormal power conditions occur. To make installation quick and easy, the unit snaps onto a DIN rail without needing any tools. It's insensitive to vibration and shock, so you benefit from minimal nuisance tripping and downtime. An indicator window lets you visually diagnose the operating status of the unit quickly.

• Insulated housing protects you against electric shocks
• Mechanical endurance of up to 20,000 cycles for reliability and low maintenance
• Broad ambient operating temperature between -25°C and +55°C, so it's compatible with demanding settings
• Screw terminals hold wires securely, which reduces the need for regular re-tightening
