Moulded parts that provide durable strain relief, protection and an environmental seal when used with an adhesive. Available in straight and right angled types, these chemical and abrasion resistant heat shrink boots are made from a tough modified elastomer, and meet the Def Stan 59-97 Issue 3 Type DE requirements. Other features include recommended shrink temperature 175°C, self-extinguishing to RK6713 and an electric strength of 12MV/m (min.) Meets specification VG95343 parts 6, 7, 8, 9. These boots can be used with spin coupling backshells, but may also be used wherever a connector offers a suitable rear mounting.
