ABB System M Pro S200 Double Pole Type B 10ka

ABB System pro M compact S200M miniature circuit breakers are current limiting. They have two different tripping mechanisms, the delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and the electro mechanic tripping mechanism for short circuit protection. All MCBs of the product range S200M comply with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 609 47-2, allowing the use for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Bottom-fitting auxiliary contact can be mounted on S200M to save 50% space

Features and Benefits

Extra-wide and complete range of MCBs which cover most applications and markets
Space and time saving thanks to the unique bottom-fixing auxiliary contact
Meeting worldwide standards
For domestic or small commercial installations up to 6 kA breaking capacity
IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2
Double pole
Operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C
Max. operating voltage 440Vac

Standards

IEC 60898 - Relates to Low Voltage Circuit Breakers for use in household and similar
Installations. In the UK traditionally known as miniature circuit breakers
(MCB’s).
IEC 60947-2 Relates to Low Voltage Circuit Breakers for use in industrial and similar
Installations. In the UK traditionally known as moulded case circuit breakers
(MCCB’s) and also air circuit breakers (ACB’s).

Q: What is Tripping Curve B

A Curve B: Tripping: 3 to 5 times the rated current.
Applications: protection of generators, persons, very long cables

Note

These are an economy range of MCB's and as such do not accept common accessories, these items will not fit compact boards (System Pro-M).

ABB MCB, DIN Rail Mounting, Screw Terminals - S200M Series - 2CDS272001R0105 S202M-B10

Keep domestic and commercial circuits on the safe side by clipping this 2-pole MCB from ABB onto your DIN rail. The B-curve device trips when it detects currentsbetween 3 and 5 times the 10A rated load, meaning small surges are quickly stopped in their tracks. Thanks to a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electro-mechanical tripping mechanism to handle short circuits, you can be sure the unit stays on top of common electrical faults. This user-friendly MCB has a simple toggle switch with both red and green and ON/OFF markers, so there's no mistaking its status.

Features & Benefits

• Electrical and mechanical durability of 20,000 cycles for a long life
• Failsafe bi-directional cylinder-lift terminals for a safe and simple connection
• Mounts in any position to help you fit it into an existing system

Applications

• Low-voltage industrial machinery
• Residential buildings
• Offices and shops

What's the rated voltage of this MCB?

The rated voltage of this MCB is 440V AC and 125V DC. It needs a minimum voltage of 12V in AC or DC to operate it.
