Introducing the 3 phase quicktest mains test connector from RS PRO, a compact and high quality mains connector ideal for testing unterminated cables up to 440V AC. The RS PRO 3 phase quicktest can be used to temporarily and safely connect the wires of a plugless lead, allowing a current to be passed through for safe, quick and reliable testing or demonstration of an electrical device. The RS PRO 3 phase quicktest block features colour coded piano key style clips, allowing you to easily identify which wire to connect for a safe and secure connection when testing. The mains test block is also fitted with neon indicator lights, allowing you to easily identify when the phases are live. The RS PRO 3 phase quicktest mains test block is suitable for use in a wide range of applications that require a quick, safe and reliable connection to a 3 phase power supply.

How does the mains test connector work?
Connection to the RS PRO 3 phase mains test block can be achieved in seconds. With the lid of the mains test block open, the mains supply is isolated allowing you to safely connect the bare wires of a device cable via the spring loaded and colour coded piano key cable clips. Closing the lid completes the circuit between the device being tested and the power supply, supplying power to the device. The RS PRO 3 phase test also features neon indicator lamps that luminate for each phase upon closure of the lid, allowing you to easily identify when they are live.
Can this be used as a permanent power supply?
No, this product must not to be used for permanent or semi-permanent connections. It is designed for temporary connections only.
