Sensata Cynergy3 Reed Horizontal Internal Mounting Level Switch, NO/NC - RSF40 Series - RSF48H100RF

This sensitive liquid level switch from Sensata Cynergy3 is used for accurate level detection in pumps and tanks. Its body is made of a polypropylene material that's highly resistant to corrosion and impact, so it offers an extended life span. It also has a nitrile gasket that's protected against oils and provides a secure seal to prevent leaks. The switch's NO/NC (normally open/normally closed) output lets you choose the setup of your electrical circuit for added flexibility. You can also alter its action by rotating it 180°, making it a versatile choice. This type of switch is commonly found in vending machines and evaporator units.

Features and Benefits

• Compact length of 88mm for use in tight spaces
• Suitable for use in high heat applications up to +100°C
• Cable length of 1m for flexible connections
• PVC (polyvinyl chloride) cable sheath for effective electrical insulation and resistance to corrosion

How does this switch work?

This component uses a magnet in a float that passes over the reed switch when the liquid rises or falls, either opening or closing the switch.
