The EDC PROTECTION Aluminized gaiters are made from 500g per square meter aluminized para-aramid fiber and are unlined for lightweight comfort, making them ideal for extended wear. They feature a hook and loop closure and a support strap designed to pass under the sole, which is engineered to break easily if snagged to prevent falls. A formable metal bar is included to be shaped before first use, ensuring the gaiter fits the top curve of the instep and prevents rotation even without the underfoot strap. All seams are stitched with KEVLAR thread for durability. Model options include E6200-001 with a total height of 15 cm (coat length should be adjusted accordingly), E6200-010 with a wider calf circumference, E6200-918 with a spring at the instep and no underfoot strap
