RS PRO 90-Piece Metric/Imperial Woodruff Key Kit
Need to mate a gear, hub or another component with a rotating shaft? These Woodruff keys from RS PRO are used to lock a part to a shaft and prevent it from rotating independently. They can also act as a failsafe device by shearing under an excessive load, which prevents damage to expensive parts. Woodruff keys are used with a rotating machine element and shaft that has a keyway (slot) and a keyseat (pocket) respectively for them to fit into.
This combination kit includes 90 keys in 18 different sizes with both imperial and metric Woodruff keys. They come in a handy box with 18 square compartments and a transparent lid to aid easy identification. These products meet the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, meaning they contain no more than trace levels of any hazardous substances.
