The Vishay SMD IR receiver modules is used for infrared remote control systems. A PIN diode and a preamplifier are assembled on a lead frame, the epoxy package contains an IR filter. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for decoding. It is primarily for compatibility with old AGC2 designs. It is compliant to RoHS directive and lead free.
It has internal filter for PCM frequency
