The OSA Opto InGaAs/InP, MQW IR LED is a solid-state lighting (SSL) type of LED that sends out light with a longer wavelength than the visible light. It has a forward voltage rating of 900mV and a forward current of 100mA. The diode has a 1.5mm pitch.
