With the M12 Pushpull connectors, during the assembly or removal process a click signals the cables have successfully been connected or disconnected, saving a large amount of engage/disengage time. With a Zinc die-cast housing this provides a robust connector which is in turn lightweight. The material contacts are Copper alloy and the surface contacts Gold plated. This assists in the prevention of oxidation and prevents tarnishing.
