RS PRO Reflector Bulb, Telephone Slide, Green, Multichip, 5.5 mm Diameter, 28 V DC
This green reflector bulb from the RS PRO range is used as an indicator. It has LED (light-emitting diode) chips to produce a bright light and is suitable for industrial applications.
The bulb's LED chips are bonded onto a substrate to gives it good resistance to shock and vibration. They're also energy efficient as they only need a small amount of current to operate. The component is fitted with a current-limiting resistor to prevent power surges from affecting the bulb.
This bulb's energy efficiency gives it a long lifespan of 100,000 hours and also means there's no need for it to be regularly replaced. It's RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, so it contains minimal amounts of harmful substances. The component has been tested for quality and approved by engineers.
