The Infineon CIPOS IM564 product family offers the chance for integrating various power and control component of inverter and single boost PFC stages to increase reliability and optimize PCB size and system cost. It is designed to control three-phase motor in variable speed drives for application such as air conditioners and pumps. The package concept is specially adapted to power applications, which need good thermal conduction and electrical isolation, but also less EMI and overload protection.
