This hook-up wire from RS PRO is ideal for wiring the insides of electrical and electronic equipment. It's supplied unterminated, so you can make connections as needed for your project.
The wire's cross-linked polyvinyl-chloride (XLPVC) insulation combines excellent physical strength with high thermal and electrical resistance, making the wire suitable for use in a range of challenging environments. It can be safely used up to a maximum temperature of +105°C. The wire's tinned copper conductors also combine excellent conductivity with corrosion resistance, so it will stay in good working condition for longer.
The wire conforms to the Underwriters Laboratories standards UL758, UL1581 and UL 1430 as a safe and effective electrical wire. It also conforms to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, meaning it contains no more than minimal levels of any potentially harmful substances.
