The wire is insulated with cross-linked polythene (XPLE), a material that offers excellent thermal resistance. This makes the cable safe to use across a wide temperature range of 0°C to +105°C. It's also suitable for high-voltage applications thanks to its 6 kV DC rating.

This product complies with the Underwriters' Laboratories UL 3239 standard for safety and efficacy. It also meets Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards, meaning it contains only trace levels of any harmful materials.
