RS PRO Unshielded Test Lead Wire, CSA, Green Silicone Rubber, 500 V, 2.5 mm², 462 Strands, 5 m Length
Use this wire from RS PRO to test the electrical properties of a component. It can be used to determine factors such as the voltage, current and resistance levels of a circuit. A silicone additive means the cable can be also be used at high temperatures of up to +200°C without the risk of melting.
The cable is fitted with a flame-retardant polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) sheath, so you don't have to worry about it catching alight in the event of a fire. The PVC material is also abrasion-resistant, helping to protect the internal wiring from damage. This means your cable will have a longer working life.
You can use this cable to connect a digital multimeter to a unit under test. It's handy both at home or in your workshop to check the electrical functioning of a piece of equipment. The wire is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant, as it contains only minimal amounts of any harmful materials.
