Introducing the range of RS PRO Step Bolts, a high-quality fastener solution for heavyweight applications such as being used as climbing steps on communication and utility poles and towers. Each fastener is made from steel with a zinc coating, making them much more cost-effective than their stainless-steel counterparts, while still offering a high level of protection against surface rust and oxidisation.

Step bolts are designed with wider, lower profile round heads and often have a square neck design. The square neck prevents it from turning ensuring a more secure grip, and when tightened, it’s essentially like torquing up a nut. They are able to carry intense loads and are mainly intentended to be tighted into steel communication towers and other tall rigid structures, but are also versatile enough to be used for:
