The HARTING Crimp contact is an accessories for Han ORV3 Connector. The Han ORV3 connector is designed and developed for use on data centre power shelves. The connector structure consists out of a lower and an upper hood shell that hold the contacts in place once the hood shells snapped together. The cable gland offers a simple yet effective strain relief function contributes to the overall IP 20 design. It was designed to promote data centre installation efficiency First connecting the input power line directly into the Power Shelf eliminates a point of failure and increasing installation efficiency. Next this design allows for one Power Shelf design to be used universally which increases efficiency of the supply chain. Finally the input power assemblies can be reused when data centres are refreshed and racks are updated or replaced allowing faster replacements with reduced cost impact.
