Looking for a compact heater for applying localised heat to metal plates and components? This tube-shaped heating element from RS PRO is ideally suited to a wide range of industrial settings, from manufacturing processes to hot stamping and printing applications.

This cartridge heater is constructed to enable easy slotting into drilled holes. Considering the dimensions and intended use of the heater beforehand is crucial, as it must fit tightly in order to work as intended. This model is 12.5 mm in diameter.

The heating element is supplied with a fibreglass-insulated, flexible lead wire. The lead has a ceramic cap on the end constructed with deep holes, which are there to stop fraying when it gets bent. The lead is also resilient to temperatures as high as +450°C.

Part of the RS PRO series, this cartridge heater has undergone a stringent quality control process to ensure safety and reliability.
