RS PRO Heating Element, 3 in, 100 W, 220 V AC


Need localised heat in an industrial setting? Turn to this RS PRO heating element to apply targeted heat to metal solids. It comes with built-in leads that are capable of resisting very high temperatures of up to +450°C.

To maximise heat transfer, you can install the heating element by inserting it into a drilled hole with a snug fit. The heater's end cap is made with deep holes to prevent the leads from weakening or fraying when bent. This will keep your wires in good working condition for a long time. For additional protection, this component also has a durable ceramic cap for resistance to impact and vibration.

The heater's small size makes it ideal for tight or awkward spaces. It's strongly recommended to use this unit with a temperature sensor and control system to prevent overheating.
