RS PRO 5 kW Fan Heater, Portable, 415 V BS4343/IEC60309
This portable fan heater from RS PRO offers a cost-effective and easy way to bring temporary heating to a room. Space-saving and convenient, it outputs a maximum power of 5 kW – enough to heat an area of up to 150 m³.
The industrially styled free-standing heater has an insulated handle so it can be repositioned safely. Two chunky knobs are used to set the fan speed and the temperature, and it's controlled with an adjustable thermostat for high efficiency. For safety, the heater features protection against overheating. A time delay allows the aluminium fan blade to cool the machine once the stainless steel heating element has been switched off. The casing is coated in rust-resistant powder for durability.
This product has been stringently tested to meet the highest standards and conforms to ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 for protection of electrical equipment. These heaters are commonly found in workshops, greenhouses and on building sites.
