AlphaWire Heatshrink Tubing Kit FIT-221-MS-2 Black

Assorted diameters of 6 inch (152 mm) pre-cut lengths of heat shrinkable, cross-linked irradiated flexible polyolefin tubing. AlphaWire FIT heat shrink tubing offers a reliable means of protecting and sealing terminations or adding greater mechanical robustness. FIT preferred heat shrink products are made from premium compounds under tight manufacturing controls. Because of this, FIT heat shrink tubing has excellent physical attributes including low longitudinal shrinkage and wide operating temperature ranges, while conferring an elegant appearance when used alone or on OEM equipment.

Note

For a secure fit, it is necessary that the tubing's recovered diameter (the diameter after shrinkage) is smaller than the diameter of the area to be insulated. At the same time, the tubing's expanded diameter (the diameter before shrinkage) needs to be large enough to fit easily over the area to be insulated, as well as any connectors attached to it.
