RS PRO Carbon Steel Engineer's Hammer, 300 g
Looking for a hammer to tackle the toughest industrial jobs? This engineer's hammer from RS PRO combines excellent strength with shock absorption, reducing fatigue for the user.
The hammer has a cross-pein head with one flat face and one cold chisel face, making it ideal for driving pins and small nails. The head is made from strong carbon steel that won't break under heavy use. For ease of use, the red-and-black fibreglass handle offers excellent grip, as well as soaking up vibrations effectively. These features also add to safety as they make it less likely you'll hit a finger.
This hammer meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, meaning it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. This kind of hammer is commonly used in industrial environments, for tasks involving starting panel pins or tacks, or for shaping metal.
