Honeywell Digital Hall Effect Sensor, 1mA Switching Current, 12.6V DC - SS94 Series - SS94A1

Use this Hall effect sensor from Honeywell for accurate position detection in electronic circuits. This integrated circuit measures changes in voltage when it's placed in a magnetic field, making it suitable for a variety of applications, such as robotics control and linear or rotary motion detection. It's an energy-efficient choice as it has a supply voltage of 4.5V to 12.6V DC and a maximum current consumption of 30mA. The laser-trimmed, thick film resistors on ceramic substrate and thin film resistors on an integrated circuit reduce null and gain shifts over temperature. This results in consistent sensitivity between devices.

Features & Benefits

• Solder tag terminals for secure installation

• Digital output for easy-to-read results

• Compact dimensions of 7.6 (length) x 15.2 (width) x 1.8mm (depth) for use in areas where space is limited

Applications

• Magnetic encoding

• Motor and fan control

Can I use this sensor in high-heat environments?

The sensor can withstand temperatures across a broad operating range of -40°C to +150°C, making it a good choice for use in both high and low-temperature applications.
