A1210/1/2/3/4 Continuous Time Hall Effect Latches, Allegro Microsystems

The Allegro Microsystems A1210/1/2/3/4 Hall-effect latches include a voltage regulator, Hall-voltage generator, small-signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and NMOS output transistor. The voltage regulator enables operation from 3.8 V to 24 V. On-board protection circuitry provides a ±30 V absolute maximum voltage rating for automotive and industrial motor commutation applications.

All devices in the family are identical except for magnetic switchpoint levels.

Available in a SOT23W, low profile surface-mount package or a three-lead ultramini SIP for through-hole mounting.

Description:
Dual element devices are integrated circuits that contain two independent Hall-effect switches. The digital outputs are out-of-phase (quadrature) when interfaced with the proper ring magnet design. These quadrature signals can be processed to determine target speed and direction. Alternately, the A1232 and A1233 internally process these switch outputs into speed ...
