Hammond Enclosure, 220 (L) x 125 (W) x 52 (H), Aluminium Construction, IP54 Rating - 1455 Series - 1455Q2201BK

Need a secure home for your circuit boards? Welcome them into this enclosure from Hammond. Its extruded design is accurately sized to ensure that PCBs with lengths of 219mm and widths of 120mm fit horizontally inside. There's a removable end cap and slots on two sides, so you'll have no trouble sliding boards in and out. A pull-out base plate gives you access to the inside of the enclosure, making it easy to assemble equipment. As the box has a rounded rectangular shape, there are no sharp corners to contend with. Four rubber feet put a stop to movement on slippery surfaces, so your equipment remains stable.

Features & Benefits

• Bezels and end caps are customisable for colour-coding equipment

• Low 0.55kg weight makes it light enough for portable devices and panel-mounting on machines

• IP54 rating indicates it allows minimal dust to get in and is protected from splashes of water

Applications

• Industrial computing

• Electronics assembly

• Prototyping

• Machine building

Is this enclosure durable?

Yes, this enclosure is constructed from rugged aluminium with a minimum thickness of 1.5mm. Black anodising boosts its corrosion resistance, so you can trust it to shrug off dampness and humidity.
