To stop dust and debris from playing havoc with your circuit board, hide it inside this Hammond enclosure. The unit comes with a lid and fixing screws so you can close it tightly. As the screws are self-captive, you benefit from rapid assembly and removal, making accessing the contents of your box a cinch. To double down on security, there's a silicone gasket that keeps moisture and contaminants firmly locked out. As the enclosure is made from hardwearing ABS plastic, it withstands high temperatures while also resisting corrosion, chemicals and abrasion.

Is the gasket on this enclosure replaceable?
Yes. If your gasket wears down, simply replace it with a spare part (253-9552). The replacement gaskets come in a pack of two, so you'll have an extra to keep on hand and use when needed.
