The Hammond type 4X/ 6P die cast aluminium enclosures from 1590Z series are made from rugged, die cast aluminium alloy, tough yet easy to machine and are electronic instrument enclosure. It is in the form of two piece “tongue and groove” construction with a replaceable one piece silicone rubber gasket which provides protection against access of dust and water. Gasket is supplied loose inside the enclosure. It is easy to wall mount using “through box - blind hole” construction, outside of gasket protection.
