The Hammond 1590 series diecast flanged Base enclosure is suitable for electronic instruments which is tough, yet easy to machine. These enclosure provide low sidewall draft angles (2° or less) for easy mounting onto printed circuit boards. It has a lap joint construction which provides IP54 protection against dust and splashing water and also provides improved EMI/RFI shielding.
