Both are plastic and resistant to rust and corrosion and will not dent – unlike metal. Spelsberg TK-PS IP66 Enclosure without Metric Knockouts
The TK-PS series from Spelsberg is an empty enclosure without pre-pressed metric knockouts designed to house a wide range of electrical, electronic and pneumatic equipment. The enclosure base is made from grey polystyrene and there is a choice of either a transparent polycarbonate or grey polystyrene lid. The TK-PS has a IP66 rating and is resistant to most acids and alkalis.
